Six Kent Masters, eleven age group swimmers and a team from Bexley swum in the Swim England Open Water Championships at the Rother Valley Country Club on 31-31 July 2017
Young people participating in the programme will be expected to attend two Development Days on Sunday 10 September and Sunday 29 October 2017 - both in Kent. Following the first Development Day, the young people will be expected to undertake 10 hours volunteering within their own club environment.
This was the inaugural Kent Skills Diving Championships and attracted 93 entries from nine diving clubs across the SE Region. The competition also doubled as a National points qualifier for the ASA National Skills to be held in the Olympic pool in July.

Kent County Amateur Swimming Association was founded in 1891 by E J Plumbridge, and is a County Association in ASA South East Region and ASA London Region. The Association consists of two sub-Associations, Kent London Swimming Association (15 affiliated clubs) and Kent Rural Association (37 affiliated clubs).
