Disability Workshops at Kent Disability Sports Awareness Day on 1 October
1st October 2017
I'm not sure if you’ve seen via our social media but we have two workshops running in Maidstone on Sunday 1st October, which coincides with the Kent Disability Sports Awareness Day happening at Maidstone Leisure Centre. Full details about the activities on offer can be found at http://www.maidstoneleisure.com/maidstone/disabilitysports
The first workshops is ‘How to Coach Disabled People’ a UK Coaching certificated multisport awareness workshop that is great for anyone delivering activities but with little disability experience who wants to make their sessions inclusive. This is running 11am-1pm and is being charged at £25.00 p/p which includes a resource booklet.
The other workshop is ‘Inclusive Communications’ which is being delivered by the English Federation of Disability Sport. This is running 2-4pm and is FREE to attend.
