11-Year-Old Development Pathway Camp Selection
We have completed the selection process for the 2023 11 Year Old Development Pathway Camp in Kent in accordance with the criteria approved by Swim England Talent. The following swimmers have been selected:
The Development Camp for those swimmers selected from the Development Meet last October will be held at Strood Leisure Centre on Sunday 16 April 2023 between 1100 and 1530 (exact timings to be confirmed). Formal invitations will be sent out via the Club Secretaries during the next seven days. If a swimmer cannot make the Camp, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer a place to the next person on the reserve list. If you have not heard by 5 March, please email John Handley (john.handley@kentswimming.org).
Please note that swimmers accepted for the 2022 County Championships in any event/distance are eligible. It doesn't matter if they have been accepted for the 2023 Championships - selection is based on the total FINA points attributable to a swimmer’s best four swims which must have included at least one 50m swim and no more than two 50m swims for each swimmer.

The Camp will be held on Sunday 12 June 2022 at Strood Leisure Centre, Old Watling Street, Higham, Rochester, Kent ME2 3JQ
We have sent the relevant documentation to each swimmer’s Club Secretary with a request that it be forwarded to the swimmer’s parents. If, however, any swimmer’s parent has not heard from the Secretary of their Club by 18 May please contact john.handley@kentswimming.org.
The deadline for acceptance of a place on the camp is 25 May 2022.
