Calling Kent's Masters Swimmers

We have asked Jenny Vick to reprise last year's role and select the Kent Team for the National Masters Inter County Competition again:

• Event:  Swim England National Masters Inter County Competition
• Venue:  Guildford Spectrum, Parkway, Guildford GU1 1UP 
• Date:  Sunday 15 November 2026
• Time:  TBC
• Travel:  Coach pick-ups at Ashford, Bluewater, Sevenoaks.

This is a National level event that brings together the very best swimmers in England and it will take Kent's top Seniors and Masters to put together our very best team and pull off another great performance this year.  First-time selected swimmers will receive County Colours and County tops, and hats will be available free to all those without one.

This event is the South East Region heat of the competition where swimmers are in 10-year age bands 18-24 years, 25-34 years, 35-44 years, 45-54 years, 55-64 years, 65-74 years 75+ years with all individual events swum over 50m - relays are 4x50m. The results from each of the Regional competitions are then collated nationally, and an overall ranking is published. 

Last year's selection process seemed to work well and Jenny is asking you to help again by identifying competitive to identify those who are available and would be willing to compete for Kent.

So, to start the selection process, please compile a list of your swimmers (even if there are only one or two and may well include you) who are available for selection. Please include their stroke preferences/times, DoB, Swim England registration number, email and a mobile phone contact number.

As you may appreciate, time is of the essence so please provide names/details as soon as possible by email to me, ideally by the second week in October.
