The Kent Junior Meet is a developmental meet for the County's swimmers. Our aim is to encourage those swimmers who did not make the County Championships earlier this year and to give more swimmers a chance to win a Kent Medal.
The 2026 Kent Junior Meet will take place on the 24th and 25th of October 2026, at Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre, St John's Rd, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 9TX. Queries should be sent to Nathan Friend at events.manager@kentswimming.org
Volunteers and Technical Officials
Meets cannot run without the support of volunteers and technical officials - without these key roles being filled, we may not be able to run the meet as planned or could lose the licence for our meet results.
Roles for non-technical volunteers include marshalling swimmers, handing out refreshments on poolside, staffing the spectator entrance and more. Roles are flexible, so you'll always be able to see your child's races throughout each session. Volunteers can enjoy light snacks on Day 1 and a light lunch on Day 2 in exchange for their support.
