Swim Safe is coming to Margate this Summer and needs your support!

Swim Safe will be coming to Margate this summer for its first year of delivery.   Swim Safe is a water safety programme aimed at delivering water safety messaging and providing young people with an experience of applying skills learned in indoor swimming lessons to an outdoors water environment (www.swimsafe.org.uk).

The delivery dates for Margate are as follows:

• 6 June – 31 August

In order to run these events we would really appreciate your help and local guidance, in particular if you can help with any of the below please let me know:

• Promotion to schools and the public
• Transport for school sessions
• Recruiting volunteers
• Recruiting of lifeguards and teachers

If you are unable to help with any of the above but would still like to get involved in a different way please get in touch.

I will keep you all updated with developments for this event and I hope we can rely on your local support to ensure the success of Swim Safe in Margate in 2018.
